April 2009

General Information

The 2009 Kaon International Conference (KAON09) is held in Tsukuba, Japan, from June 09 (Tue) to 12(Fri), 2009. "KAON" is a series of conferences for the physics of kaon decay and related topics and is held every few years. The last conference, KAON07, was held at Frascati in May 2007.

KAON09 is organized in plenary sessions, including invited talks and a selection of submitted contributions, and a poster session for contributed papers. The conference covers the following topics.

In addition to the scientific sessions, we are planning to reserve the afternoon of Thursday, June 11 for the bus tour to the J-PARC site and the evening for the banquet.

We hope that the conference will further stimulate worldwide activities in particle and nuclear physics and develop new frontiers in these fields.
